A QR Code (abbreviation for Quick Response code) is a specific matrix bar code (or two-dimensional code) that is readable by dedicated QR bar code readers and camera phones.

A barcode is an optical machine-readable representation of data relating to the object to which it is attached. Basically bar codes systematically represented data by varying the width and spacing of parallel lines.
